BoE Governor Comments Help Sterling Recoup – 4 September, 2018
Sterling managed to rebound slightly after BoE Governor Mark Carney verified that he would not be leaving his post just yet, though Brexit concerns and weak economic data kept the currency on edge. Against the euro, sterling was 0.2 percent higher at 90.065 pence. Against the dollar, the pound dropped 0.12 percent to $1.2857 after having fallen $1.2810 earlier in the session.
