Brexit Plan Pushes Sterling Higher – 19 March, 2018
Britain and the European Union have come to an agreement for the 21 months post Brexit transition, which caused the Pound to gain. Sterling rose to its strongest in a month against the dollar to by as much as 1 percent at $1.4088 before landing at $1.4031. It climbed as much as 0.8 percent against the euro, its highest since the beginning of February, to 87.455 pence per euro.
