Currencies Calm Before U.S. Election – 2 November, 2020

WORLD CURRENCY NOTES

The dollar floated just below a one month high ahead of the U.S. Presidential Elections happening on Tuesday. The dollar was steady at 93.996 against a basket of major currencies, while the safe-haven yen was also higher at 104.72 per dollar and the euro was just below $1.30. The Australian dollar was down 0.2%, and the kiwi weakened to $0.6626. The euro was slightly higher at $1.1652.
