Dollar Advances To 14 Week High – 23 April, 2018
The dollar traded to its highest since January as the Dollar Spot Index rose 0.8 percent, its highest in 14 weeks. The yen declined to 108.82 per dollar, down 0.1 percent, and the Australian dollar gained 0.1 percent after falling to its lowest to December to 75.80 U.S. cents before settling at 76.10 U.S. cents. After falling 0.9 percent, gold rose by 0.1 percent to $1,326.47 per ounce, and West Texas Intermediate crude is up to $68.93 per barrel, rising 0.4 percent.
