Dollar Crawls Back From Three Year Low Against Major Currencies – 31 January, 2018

The Dollar Spot Index is finally bouncing back after hitting near three year lows last week, rising to 89.127 against a basket of major currencies, after falling 3.2 percent in January.  After declining 3.1 percent against the Yen in January and hitting a four month low, it edged up 0.2 percent to 109.36 Yen. The Euro settled at $1.2417 after hitting a high of $1.2475 the day before. After rising 5 percent against the Dollar last month, the Pound climbed 0.1 percent to $1.4200.
