Dollar Falls To Its Lowest In Longest Losing Streak – 31 July, 2017
In its longest losing streak since 2011, the Dollar dropped to its fifth monthly loss, losing ground to almost all of its G-10 peers. On track for a -2.5% monthly decline, the Bloomberg spot index declined by 0.3% on Monday where it remains the lowest since May 2016. Just 10 days after Anthony Scaramucci joined the White House, he was removed President Trump’s staff. The Dollar dipped setting new lows for the Euro and Yen, while the progress of Trumps fiscal policies are a steady concern as inflation remains below 2%.
