Dollar Falls To Yen Due As Uncertainty Over China Tariffs Linger- 14 March, 2018
The dollar reached a one week low against the dollar, trading at 106.10 yen and down 0.3 percent on the fears of President Trump escalating a trade war by imposing tariffs on China. Pressures for China to cut its surplus in trade by roughly $100 billion dollars, the Trump administration may have a bigger problem at hand as U.S. retail sales have also fallen. Should the dollar fall below 105.24 yen in March, it will reach its weakest point since November 2016. Additionally, the euro is up 0.1 percent against the dollar at $1.2378.
