Dollar Hits Three Week Lows As Euro Gaines – 7 June, 2018
The dollar index posted its fourth session of losses, declining by 0.3 percent to 93.444 against a basket of six major currencies. The loss comes as the euro bounces back from ten month lows on the possibility of the ECB unwinding its stimulus program next week.The index hit its lowest since May 17 on tThursday, falling 0.75 percent. The euro, however, rose to a three week high overnight to $1.184 before settling at $1.1796, up over 1 percent this week and its biggest weekly gain since February. The dollar dipped 0.45 percent against the yen and is steady at 109.765 yen.
