Dollar Slips To Yen Waiting For BOJ Decision – 30 July, 2018
The dollar fell by 0.1 percent to 110.93 yen ahead of the policy decision by BOJ on whether they will tweak its stimulus program. Since it’s six month peak on July 19 of 113.18 yen, the dollar eased over 2 percent, but was little changed against other major currencies on Tuesday with the dollar index flat at 94.339. The euro recovered from its worst performance against the dollar in six weeks on Monday and remains at $1.1707, after having risen almost half a percent. The pound rose slightly to $1.3138, and the Australian dollar moved up 0.05 percent to $0.74115.
