Dollar Has Worst Week In Six Months – 14 September, 2018

The dollar is heading for its biggest weekly loss since February as U.S. inflation unexpectedly slowed down in August and Trade tension with China remain present. The dollar spot index is down 0.9 percent for the week, while the yen rose 0.1 percent to 111.81 per dollar. The offshore yuan dipped 0.1 percent to 6.8527 per dollar, and the euro remained little changed at $1.1692. The pound remained stable after the BoE’s increase to its growth forecast and with a little help from the greenbacks weakness.
