Euro Falls To Month Low – 26 July, 2018
The European Central Bank’s refusal to increase rates caused the euro to fall to its lowest in a month, while sterling suffered after the EU rejected Brexit trade proposals. The euro fell to $1.16420 EUR=EBS, down 0.77 percent, and 129.480 yen JPY=EBS, down 0.5 percent. The pound, pressured by a stronger dollar, dropped 0.65 percent to $1.3109. The dollar index strengthened 0.4 percent to 94.765.
