Euro Reaches One Week Low – 18 October, 2018
The European Commissions criticism of Italy’s budget caused the euro to reach a one week low against the dollar. The euro fell 0.4 percent to $1.1454, its lowest since October 9. The dollar index rose 0.05 percent to 95.96 and closed on Thursday at its highest level since the end of August. The pound hit an 11 day low before rebounding slightly to land at $1.3020 versus the dollar. The yen weakened against the dollar, last trading at 112.31.
