Gold Rises Since Fed Rate Hike – 9 January, 2018
Gold has been steadily climbing since the fed raised rates in the second week of December, beating the Dollar and Bitcoin. The metal touched its highest level in three months last week, rising by 5.7 percent to $1,314.36 per ounce. The advance was driven by the Dollar which was down 1.5 percent and is expected to climb as long as greenback remains low.
