Greenback Edges Up Slowly – 26 March, 2019

Against a basket of six major currencies, the dollar index was up 0.2 percent to 96.912, complimenting the gains made overnight. The Australian dollar dropped 0.4 percent to $0.7106, and the New Zealand kiwi fell 1.5 percent to $0.6803. The euro dipped 0.1 percent to $1.1255, extending overnight losses, while the pound edged up 0.15 percent to $1.3185. Against the yen, the dollar fell 0.05 percent to 110.565 yen after gaining 0.6 percent against the yen the previous session.
