Investor confidence in the euro-zone rose for the third month in a row in January, as the Sentix survey showed that investor sentiment in the euro-zone rose for the third month in a row in January, but it remained in the negative zone, reflecting a difficult economic situation. The Sentix index for the eurozone rose to -17.5 points in January, compared to -21.0 in December, the highest level since June 2022, exceeding analysts’ expectations of -18.0 points in January.
The index of future expectations rose to -15.8 in January, compared to -22.0 in December, the highest level since February 2022, and the current situation index in the eurozone rose to -19.3 in January, compared to -20.0 in December, the highest level since August 2022, and also the third rise in respectively.
