Oil Rises Over 1 Percent As OPEC Talks Extending Cuts – 22 March, 2018
Oil prices rose over 1 percent as OPEC plans to extend cuts into 2019, an initiative led by Saudi Arabia after an agreement to cut 1.8 barrels per day has proved successful over the last year. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures was up 82 cents and 1.3 percent to $65.13 per barrel, while Brent Crude futures was up 79 cents and 1.5 percent to $69.70 per barrel.
