Pound Climb Halts Due To Brexit Plan – 5 July, 2018

The pound slipped to the days low of $1.3205 on comments by Chancellor Angela Merkel about the U.K.’s Brexit customs plans being unworkable. The drop came after a two-day climb, down 0.1 percent to settle at $1.3220 and weakened 0.4 percent against the euro to 88.46 pence.
