Pound Gaines As Services Sector Shows Growth – 4 July, 2018

Britain’s economy is showing signs of recovering from a slow start to the year with surveys coming in this week in the services, manufacturing, and construction sectors. It’s dominant services sector gained momentum which helped the pound rise to a five day high of $1.3201 and was up 0.3 percent to 88.18 pence against the euro. A week economy and a lack of a clear plan for a divorce from the European Union had caused the pound to slump recently.
