Powell’s Testimony To Determine The Fate of The Dollar – 27 February, 2018
Though the Dollar is afloat above the three year low, it hit a few weeks by 1.7 percent, it still fell 0.1 percent to against a basket of six major currencies to 89.728, just missing the February 16 fall of 88.25. The Dollar eased as investors await for the testimony of Jerome Powell, the Federal Reserve Chairman. His comments will determine if the Dollars recovery has more room to grow. He will testify on the monetary policy and economy at the central bank’s semi-annual report.
