President Biden Wastes No Time Taking Action – 20 January, 2021

Within the first few hours of taking office, President Biden has signed 15 executive actions in an effort to begin to check off his list of The Day One plans. Executive actions signed included changing the course of the COVID crisis, tackling climate change, pausing student loans and evictions, and halting the process of the U.S. withdrawing from the World Health Organization. Other plans include re-entering the Paris climate accord, stopping the Keystone XL pipeline, and revoking the ban on transgender Americans joining the military. The new president has announced that he will be announcing further executive actions that deliver on the promises he’s made to the American people.
