Sterling Has Biggest Daily Loss This Year- 15 November, 2018

In its biggest daily loss in a year, the pound sank after a series of resignations of Prime Minister Theresa May’s Government. The pound slid roughly 2 percent versus the dollar and the euro after Dominic Raab, the Brexit minister, resigned in protest over the drafted deal. The move was met by three other ministers resigning. Sterling fell 1.9 percent to $1.2730. Against the euro, the pound dropped 1.7 percent to 88.85 pence.
