Sterling Dips On Stronger Dollar- 27 September, 2018
The dollar gained after the U.S. fed rate hike, causing sterling to drop which is had already been weighed down by investors uncertainty about the outcome of Brexit negotiations and the terms of Britain’s Exit from the European Union. The pound dipped 0.6 percent to $1.3097 and 0.6 percent to $1.3042, just skimming the top of the one-week low it hit last week. Sterling was flat against the euro at 89.03 pence.
