Sterling Hits One Week Low As Divorce Day Approaches – 6 March, 2019

With the scheduled Brexit day quickly approaching, sterling dipped to a one week low fueled by doubt in Prime Minister Theresa May’s ability to get a proposal vote and the possibility of a date rescheduling. The pound dropped 0.2 cents to $1.3149, and fell 0.3 percent against the euro to 86.08 pence. In an earlier poll, many economists believed Brexit would be delayed, with support from Theresa May in doing so should parliament reject her deal.
