U.S. Oil Production Is Threatened By Gulf Coast Storm – 24 August, 2017

A storm rising through the Gulf Coast led oil prices to rise as production output was threatened. On Wednesday, Brent crude was up 70 cents per barrel at $52.57, while West Texas Intermediate was trading with a 58 cent increase at $48.41. U.S. inventories fell 3.3 barrels last week.
