US stocks continue Rise to record levels
The three main indices of US stocks rose today with the support of the energy sector, which rose by 1.4%, the financial sector, which rose by 0.2%, and also supported by the comments of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, which affirms the necessity of continuing support for the US economy.
Twitter shares rose 7.6% after expecting a strong start to 2021 as the number of users rose, car rental company Lyft Inc rose 5.6%, while Tesla shares fell 4.6%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 66.95 points, or 0.21%, to 31,442.78 points, and the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index rose by 3.75 points, or 0.10% to 3,914.98 points, and the Nasdaq Composite index also rose 6.86 points, or 0.05%, to 14014.56 points.
