White House Says The U.S. Economy Is Strong Despite Weak Dollar – 24 January, 2018
The Dollar has declined 10 percent since Donald Trump took office, though the White House has asserted its control over the U.S. currency policy and is confident that its stability is a reflection of the American economy. The Bloomberg Dollar Index is currently on it’s seventh week of declines and has reached a three year low. The greenback has fallen 1.2 percent against the Yen and 0.8 percent against the Euro, while the Pound and Swiss Franc are the strongest of the G-10 peers.
