Yen And Euro Fall To Weakest In Weeks – 1 May, 2018
The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index rose to its highest in 16 weeks by 0.6 percent, while the yen, euro, and pound all decreased. The pound fell to $1.3621, down 1.1 percent, the yen dropped to 109.88 per dollar and 0.5 percent, its weakest in 12 weeks. The euro fell by 0.7 percent to $1.1993, its weakest in 16 weeks. Gold fell by 0.8 percent to its weakest in four weeks at $1,350 per ounce, and West Texas Intermediate crude is down 1.7 percent to $67.43 per barrel.
