Gulf of Mexico Platforms Still Shut – 15 November, 2017
A Nov 8 fire on four platforms in the Gulf of Mexico has put the production of 75,206 barrels of oil per day on hold, as well as 215,122 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Shell and Hess both hold shares in products being produced on the platforms and both companies are cooperating while repairs are being made.
